This is Jacquard's metallic/pearlescent paint line. The paint lasts a long time without cracking or coming off. Feels soft on textiles and is washable after fixation by heat (e.g. using an iron). Due to its high pigmentation, this paint provides excellent coverage even on dark surfaces.
Lumiere is an Acrylic paint and is applicable in many ways. The metallic or Pearlescent look can give a wow effect in your project. It can be used as an accent, but it can certainly be used on large areas as well. The paint is suitable for Natural and Synthetic fabrics, Leather, Wood, Canvas, Vinyl, Plastic, Rubber, Clay, Paper and more.
Jacquard Lumiere can be used with brushes, stamp pads, spray bottles and airbrush. Before airbrushing, you do need to dilute the paint with water to 25%.
If Lumiere is used on fabric, it must be fixated with heat after drying. There are several ways to do it: 1. ironing: This is the best method. Use a dry iron and iron the backing on the appropriate setting for the fabric. 2. Dryer: Run the dryer for about 35 to 45 minutes at the hottest temperature possible (if the fabric can handle it).
