Rit is one of the products we started our business with. We were looking for good paint to dye 3D printed parts. As a company, sometimes you want to be able to paint large numbers at once. Therefore, Rit now not only has their small bottles, but has launched Proline for the big projects.

General information Rit Dye

Rit dyes can be used for many things. The most common is for dyeing clothes, but also curtains, cushion covers, etc. The most important thing to know when dyeing a fabric is its composition. Polyester and Natural fabrics are in fact very different from each other and need to be dyed differently.

When do you use Rit Proline?

Rit's Proline can dye both Synthetic and Natural fabrics! This includes Cotton, Linen, Rayon, Silk, Wool, Acetate and some Plastics. The composition of the fabric does determine how best to dye. These bulk packs are suitable for large projects.

How to use Rit Proline.

1 Stove-top Method: This involves dyeing using hot water in a pan on the stove. This often gives the most vibrant colors (This method should be used when dyeing Synthetic fabrics or when a fabric consists of more than 35% Polyester).

2 Sink or bucket method: For general paint projects, use the sink or bucket method (dye in hot water in a bucket or sink).
