Soda Ash Dye Fixer – Dye Activator for Procion MX Dyes – 450 grams

Soda Ash to be used in conjunction with Jacquard’s Procion MX Dyes (cold water dyes).
The reaction between the Priocion MX Dye and the Soda Ash Dye Fixer fixes the dye into the fabric.
Quantities required by method:
- For tie dye (pre-soak method): use 230 grams per approximately 3.8 liters of warm water. Soak the fabric for 20 minutes and then wring it out.
- For dyeing (immersion method): use 57-78 grams per about 11.4 liters of water and add to the dye bath.
- Dyeing in the washing machine: use 470-710 grams at a time. Dissolve in 0.95 liters of hot water and add to the dye bath in the washing machine.
