{"id":15406,"date":"2022-11-19T11:04:33","date_gmt":"2022-11-19T10:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/3dforma.nl\/product\/idye-poly-golden-yellow\/"},"modified":"2026-04-16T06:15:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T05:15:15","slug":"idye-poly-golden-yellow","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/3dforma.nl\/en\/product\/idye-poly-golden-yellow\/","title":{"rendered":"Textile paint iDye Poly Golden Yellow &#8211; Dye"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Contents<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>14 grams of dye (The dye comes in a <strong>soluble bag)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>14 ml color intensifier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Materials<\/strong><br>You can use iDye Poly for almost all synthetic fabrics such as <strong>Polyester<\/strong> and <strong>Nylon<\/strong>.<br>For mixed fabrics containing both synthetic and natural fibers, you can use iDye for natural fabrics with the corresponding iDye Poly color at the same time. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Quantity to be dyed<\/strong><br>One package of iDye Poly can be used for <strong>1-1.3 kg of<\/strong> dry fabric.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paint methods<\/strong><br>For best results: read the instructions on the package beforehand or read our comprehensive <a class=\"primary button\" href=\"https:\/\/3dforma.nl\/instructies-how-to-do\/jacquard\/idye-poly-instructie\/?_gl=1*mwh30r*_up*MQ..&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwl6-3BhBWEiwApN6_kvTnoYJ2wiz8TEb2BI1uYCKGEE2cXWimCTBPG5gSx0y4nOBifTxExxoCVe0QAvD_BwE\">manual<\/a><br><strong>Note<\/strong>: the result depends on, among other things, the amount of paint, dyeing time, type of fabric, current fabric color, dye bath temperature, etc.<\/p>\n<p>This paint can <em><strong>not<\/strong><\/em> be used using the washing machine! But only by using the <strong>stove-top method.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-line-height=\"xs\"><strong>Brief explanation stove-top method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li data-line-height=\"xs\">Fill a stainless steel pan with just enough water for the fabric to move freely<\/li>\n<li data-line-height=\"xs\">Bring the water to the boiling point (about 93 degrees) and keep the temperature constant<\/li>\n<li data-line-height=\"xs\">Add the iDye Poly and stir until dissolved.<\/li>\n<li data-line-height=\"xs\">Add pre-moistened fabric and stir frequently (Keep fabric in dye bath until desired color is achieved)<\/li>\n<li data-line-height=\"xs\">Wash the fabric after with mild detergent and let dry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note: 3DForma.nl is not responsible for a different color result.<\/strong><br><strong>Always test first! After all, dyeing is always an experiment and unfortunately may not turn out the way you would like.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Color<\/strong><br>Dye blends with the existing color(s) of the fabric.<br>If the garment you are painting is white or off-white, you should be able to achieve a corresponding color as shown on our website.<br>If your garment already has a color, your only option is to over-dye it with a darker color, and because the paint will blend with the existing color, a different result must be expected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patterns and logos<\/strong><br>If the garment you are dyeing has a pattern or logo, the color you use will blend with the existing color(s) in the fabric and create new colors.<br>Patterns and logos remain visible even if you dye the fabric in very dark color.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coating<\/strong><br>The fabric you want to dye may have a coating. You should think of waterproof, stain-resistant, wash-and-wear, permanent press and wrinkle-resistant finishes.<br>This cannot be seen with the naked eye and is often not mentioned on labels. If the fabric has a coating, the dye will not do anything \/ not pick up properly and thus the fabric will not color or will only color lightly.  <\/p>\n<p>It is recommended to wash a new fabric or garment in warm water and detergent before dyeing. This helps remove some finishes that may interfere with color absorption, but this will not remedy harsh coatings (such as waterproof).  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Bleach stains and sun damage<\/strong><br>Sun and bleach damage the fabric, making it very difficult to dye. Damaged fibers are not always visible to the naked eye. It is almost impossible to achieve an even color when fibers are damaged. The dye is likely to stain.    <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Idye Poly can be used for almost all <strong>Synthetic fabrics<\/strong> such as Polyester and Nylon.
