General information Textile Color

These textile paints are permanent and also washable. Jacquard textile color can be used on any fabric and also on other surfaces such as Wood, Canvas and more. Creotime's textile color is for fabric only and the fabric must also contain at least 50% cotton for good fixation. Cadence's textile color is suitable for any fabric regardless of its composition.

When do you use Textile Color?

Textile color is easy to apply with a brush, but other techniques are also possible. Jacquard textile color comes in many colors and is semi-transparent, however, it can also be made more opaque by adding white. Creotime's textile color has several lines with a choice of opaque, semi-transparent or glitter paint. Cadence also has different lines such as matte and metallic and all of them are fully opaque.

How to use Textile Color.

The paints can be applied in different ways. So it depends entirely on you which method it will be. Consider brushes, airbrush, stamping or spray bottles.

It is important that the paint gets set with heat after application. This fixes the paint to the surface and helps ensure good washability. This applies to all brands.

You can use the paints directly, but should you prefer a more transparent paint, it can also be thinned. A colorless extender can be found in our assortment, but water can also be used (maximum 25%).
