The set contains four 120ml pots from the Amsterdam acrylic medium line. Each medium has its own texture and effect, allowing you to explore different surfaces and techniques. You can use the mediums purely for texture, or mix them with acrylic paint to add color and texture simultaneously.
The mediums work perfectly with acrylic paints from the Amsterdam Standard or Expert Series, but are also suitable for acrylic paints from other brands, as long as they are water-based.
Contents of the set
- Pearl Medium (pearl glass) – a medium with small glass beads that creates a subtle pearl structure and light-reflecting effect, especially beautiful when combined with transparent acrylic paint.
- Modeling Paste – firm, white paste for building textures and textures. Can be mixed with acrylic paint; because the paste is white, colors become lighter and more pastel-like.
- Pumice Coarse Medium – Coarse granular medium with a rough texture, ideal for natural or stony textures.
- Extra Heavy Gel Medium Matt – a very thick gel medium that holds brush and palette knife textures well and dries to a transparent matte finish.

Keep in mind that Modeling Paste, in particular, will make the color lighter and more pastel-like, as it is white and opaque.
