FAQ – Ecoline Brush pens
Are the Ecoline Brush Pens lightfast?
The colours are brilliant and transparent, but not completely lightfast.
They may fade with prolonged exposure to bright sunlight. Store your work in a sketchbook, scan it, or frame it behind UV-resistant glass for optimal preservation.
Which paper will give me the best results?
Preferably use watercolour paper of 200 gsm or heavier.
This paper handles water well and prevents wrinkling. Regular sketch or printer paper will also work, but the result will be less intense.
How do I store my Ecoline Brush Pens properly?
Store your Ecoline Brush Pens horizontally so the ink distributes evenly across the tip and reservoir.
Always keep the cap tightly closed to prevent drying out. If not using them for an extended period,
you can shake them briefly or moisten the tip to revitalize the ink. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat.
What can I do if the tip of my Ecoline Brush Pen has dried out?
If the nib feels dry, this could be because the ink has been absorbed or because the pen hasn't been used for a long time.
You can briefly dip the nib in clean water or moisten it with a brush to get the ink flowing again.
Please note: because the ink is water-based, prolonged drying can permanently damage the pen.
