This paintable filler from Angelus is suitable for repairing small blemishes in smooth leather (think small holes and scratches).
Works for the following materials: Leather -Vinyl – Patent leather – Vegan leather – Foam – Bonded leather – Pu leather.
The filler dries flexibly to prevent further holes or cracks and can be painted perfectly with Angelus paints.
Instructions:
- Lightly sand the area where you want to apply the filler.
- To ensure proper adhesion, you can optionally use Angelus’ Leather and Preparer.
- Repair the spot with some filler (for this, use something you can use to smooth the filler)
- Allow to dry completely, how long this takes varies greatly depending on the amount used.
- If it isn’t/can’t be completely repaired with 1 coat, sand the coat lightly and add another layer, let this dry again and continue until it is completely repaired to your liking.
If you want to apply Angelus paint after this, it is recommended that you do not move/bend the repaired area for 48 hours to ensure full adhesion and curing.
