TEXTILE DECORATION TECHNIQUES
painting, sponge technique, stenciling, stamping, solar printing technique
Diluted with water, they can be used for the sunprint technique, using two parts water to one part paint.
In this technique, a piece of fabric is painted with this mixture, after which certain areas are covered with objects or plants and exposed to the sun.
After drying, the areas hidden from the sun will be lighter.
Brushes and other tools are easy to clean with warm water.
To fix the Setacolor colors, iron the back of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes on the “cotton” setting without steam.
After fixing, the colors can be machine washed at 40°C, but dry cleaning is not recommended.
Setacolor is also available in glossy-, pearl- and suede-effect colours. There is also a special opaque line suitable for dark fabrics (Setacolor Opaque)
