- For heavy wet-on-wet applications or multiple layers, it is recommended to tape or stretch the paper in advance to minimize distortion.

Can the paper be used on one or both sides?
A: The paper is slightly textured on one side, which is ideal for watercolor. The other side is smoother and therefore not really suitable. So the paper can be used on one side.
