Jacquard's Idye Poly, along with the Idye Natural, was the first product on this website. With this dye we dyed the 3D printed parts of our family business. We were excited about the paint and since there are a large number of creative people in the family, 3DForma was born out of this.

General information Jacquard Idye

Jacquard's dyes can be used for many things. The most common is for dyeing clothes, but think also of curtains, cushion covers, 3D printed parts, etc. The most important thing to know when dyeing a fabric is its composition. Is your fabric Synthetic? Use Idye Poly. Is your fabric Natural? Use Idye Natural. Is your fabric a compound? Use both!

When do you use Jacquard Idye poly?

Idye Poly is specially designed for Synthetic materials (Polyester, Nylon, Acetate, etc.). This textile paint can dye more than just clothes. For example Worbla, Wigs and some hard plastics. The paint comes in a soluble bag.

How do you use Jacquard Idye Poly?

1 Stove-top Method: This involves dyeing using hot water in a pan on the stove. This often gives the most vibrant colors (This method should be used when dyeing with Idye Poly)

Your fabric may contain both Synthetic and Natural materials. In this case be sure to look for the color from the Idye Natural that is closest to the color of the Idye poly and use both bags simultaneously.
