Jacquard Synthrapol 240 ml – Detergent for Textile Dyes

Jacquard Synthrapol is a special detergent for textile dyes. It can be used both before and after dyeing and helps clean the fabric and remove excess dye. This product is suitable for both natural and synthetic fabrics.

Use as a pre-wash

Use Synthrapol as a pre-wash in the washing machine to remove oils, waxes, starch, and other residues from fabrics. This ensures that the fabrics are as clean as possible and reduces the risk of a streaky result.

1. Weigh the dry laundry and use about 12 ml of Synthrapol per kg of laundry.
2. Add the Synthrapol to the detergent dispenser (do not use any additional detergent).
3. For cotton and other cellulose fibers: add approximately 8 grams of soda ash per kilogram of fabric.
4. Wash the textiles on a cycle of at least 10 minutes at a setting appropriate for the fabric.

Use as a post-treatment

After dyeing, Synthrapol helps wash excess, unfixed dye out of the fabric. The released dye remains in the water during the wash cycle in the washing machine, thereby preventing it from reattaching to other parts of the fabric.

1. After dyeing, rinse the fabric with cold water
2. Add Synthrapol (12 ml per kg of fabric) to the detergent dispenser (do not use any additional detergent).
3. Wash the fabric on a cycle of at least 10 minutes using a setting appropriate for the fabric.

Can also be used as a wetting agent

Synthrapol can also be added in small amounts when dyeing fabrics that do not absorb water easily. It helps the dye penetrate the fabric more effectively, ensuring a more even distribution.

1. When dyeing in a dye bath: add 2 to 3 drops of Synthrapol per 2.27 kg of fabric.
2. When painting on fabric: add 1 to 2 drops of Synthrapol per 59 ml of fabric paint.
