What do you use Rit Color Remover for?
For Dye projects:
Perfect for when you want to re-dye the fabric, but first remove the existing color (because dyeing gives the best results on a white background)
For dye stains:
Can remove dye stains (accidentally washed with colored articles).
For food stains:
can remove food stains (such as fruit, fruit juice, ketchup and tea) from white laundry.
Please note that 3DForma.nl is not liable for any deviant result.
It is not guaranteed that the color remover will work and/or completely remove the color/stains.
Rit Color Remover works best on cotton, linen, rayon, wool and ramee
Unfortunately, it does not work for Synthetic fabrics and blue denim.
For best results, we recommend using the stove-top method (can only be done if the object fits in a pan on the stove). However, you can also use RIT Color Remover in a washing machine or with the sink or bucket method.
Important before dyeing in the washing machine!
At least 2 packages are needed to remove color in the washing machine, because the washing machine does not decolorize as effectively.
– Small load: 2 packages (socks, t-shirt, short dress, skirt etc.)
– Large load: 3 packages (sweater, pants, long dress, or multiple small items etc.)
– Extra large load: 4 packages (comforter cover, short curtains etc.)
Unlike traditional bleach, which contains chlorine that can damage the fabric, Rit Color Remover is chlorine-free,
so you can safely dye the fabric after removing the color.
